Ruffled Sukapan Sewing Tutorial

 Ruffled Sukapan Sewing Tutorial

Be there, or be square, cutie gals! I promised I would upload a new tutorial this week, and I did!
Today I'll teach you how to make this super cute ruffle skirt, which even has built-in shorts!
It's super simple to make, and it only took me about half a day. However, I did use a rolled hem foot, which definitely saved me an hour haha~

If you've sewn once or twice before, I think this is a perfect project for you. If you know how to use a machine but haven't sewn in a long time, I think it is also doable; there can just be a lot of fabric at times, and the amount of rolled hems can be frustrating.

In this tutorial, I'll teach you how to create ruffled layers, add an elastic waistband, draft a pair of safety shorts, and put it all together!

~Mate Gal - Weekend day out~

 ~Mate Gal - Weekend day out~

Hey cutie gals!

It's been so long...

I'm sorry! I've simply been so busy with school that I haven't managed my time well enough to make any posts. I'm making a tutorial this weekend, though (once I finish my homework that I'm meant to be doing right now) so you'll have something new by Thursday!

Anyways, today my family and I all went out for my grandmother's birthday to lovely Uruguayan cafes!
Part of my heritage is Uruguayan, so I always like to take part in culture as well as I can. However, this is pretty hard LOL since there are very few Latinos in Sydney, let alone Uruguayans.

So today, we went on a pilgrimage to Smithfield, where there is not one, but two Uruguayan places!

Ruched Skirt Sewing Tutorial

 Ruched Skirt Sewing Tutorial

☘︎⋅.˳˳.⋅☘︎⋅.˳˳.⋅☘︎

Hello everyone! It's been about two weeks since my last post so today i'll be giving you the tutorial on how I made this super cute and sexy ruched skirt! Similar to my last skirt tutorial, this one is an underbust skirt, but with a whole different vibe.
I wore this to the Sydney Gal Meet, and it was so comfortable and really flattering. I must say, the ruching really emphasises the body shape and is a good way to add texture to an outfit.

I was inspired to make this skirt by an Ageha 11/09 scan I saw on Pinterest. I've been wanting to make this since before I became a gyaru!
It's the skirt worn in the top left, I think I copied it quite well, but because my fabric was on the lighter side, it doesn't have as intense ruching, but if you wanted to have really intense ruching, you could multiply your pattern length by 2.5 instead of 2, but we can get into that later in the tutorial.

This project is super easy to do, even though you make your own pattern (don't worry, it's super easy), it's just working with stretch fabric that makes it take a while. An intermediate sewer could probably knock this out in 2-3 hours. (I took about double, though, as I had to figure out how to make the pattern from scratch and was accidentally using denim needles instead of stretch needles...)

Gyaru Meet @ Hyde Park With Sydney Gals!

Gyaru Meet @ Hyde Park With Sydney Gals!

。 ₊°༺ ♡ ༻°₊ 。

Look at all those gorgeous gals!!! I don't think I've ever seen a gyarusa outside of Japan so big! At one point, there was almost 30 of us, but only 25 of us are pictured here 😔

Last Friday, I had the magnificent opportunity to go to a Sydney gal meet at Hyde Park, and I made sooooo many amazing friends from all over Sydney and of all different ages. My day was filled to the brim with smiling, eating sweets and attempting to do many different parapara dances.

Diy Agejo rose shoes

Diy Agejo rose shoes

Hello darlings! Today, I'm giving you a tutorial on how I made these super cute and super hot heels from some shoes I got from Kmart on clearance. I first made these to wear to the TWICE concert back in November, but I decided to remake them and do a tutorial too!

When I first made these, I only had cream coloured heels from about a year ago, so sadly, it didn't quite match. It was truly just my luck when I found these black shoes in the same model!

I was really inspired by these Agejo-style shoes I found on Pinterest; they're so fun and are fairly versatile. I think they could work for Hime gyaru too if you used white and pink lace. I guess rose motifs unite the two substyles, which is great, because I really love them.

Kawaii Underbust Skirt - Sewing Tutorial

Kawaii Underbust Skirt - Sewing Tutorial

➽──────❥ ❀⊱༺♡༻⊰❀ ➽──────❥
Hi everyone! This is my first tutorial, and today I'll be recreating/revamping the first garment I ever sewed by myself and giving you a tutorial on how I made it.
This skirt is soooo cute and flattering, and would be very suitable for an inverted triangle or hourglass body shape. I think it could be incorporated nicely into a himekaji co ord, and I'm planning to make a puffy, off-shoulder top in white to match, which I'll give a tutorial to draft the pattern for and the instructions to assemble.
However, I have a longggggg list of things I want to make, and I don't have any more space to store fabric, so it could be a while. Don't worry though! I have lots of other cute tutorials planned too 😝
