Gyaru blog directory

The Gyaru Blog Directory - 2026!

Although blogging has significantly dropped in popularity since its peak in the 2010s, there are so many awesome gyaru blogs filled with content, tutorials, hauls and inspiration. While most are inactive now, there are a few active ones, and I want to make it easy to find all the different gyaru blogs online! If you have any that you like in particular, please comment them at the end of the page and I'll keep editing this list. Each title is a clickable link that will open that blog in a new tab.

I'll be categorising inactive blogs as blogs that haven't updated in the past six months or so. So some may be categorised incorrectly if they start updating again. Again, just let me know in the comments!

Violet LeBeaux - My inspiration for Minayanya

For most of these blogs I'll just be doing a link, picture and short bio maybe, but Violet LeBeaux was who inspired me to become a gyaru and create a blog! So she gets an appreciation paragraph haha.
While now she's busy releasing her new video game Moonlight in Garland, throughout the first half of the 2010s, she did a lot of Hime gyaru posts - hair tutorials in particular! - which are super awesome and helpful
She also recently updated her website too to match the aesthetic of her new game I think, and it's so pretty and calming! I do have nostalgia for her old layout which was also soooooo cute!

Active blogs
Sei is a gaijin gal from Canada who is one of very few updating gal blogs!!! Loads of content as she is an experienced veteran gal!
Another super awesome and nostalgic blog that is still active is 96loveJ, run by pocha, a gaijin gyaru. His makeup is AWESOME and I am in love with the site design too, you have to check it out.
Lots of content and some sewing tutorials too! A gaijin gal focused on more old style gyaru.
Brazilian Gyaru!! Soooo much content and I love her diary/looks posts, super cute
Inactive blogs
SuiPrincess is a gal from Germany who has a SUPER KAWAII blog that is mostly all still functioning and has days of content on it. She is mostly a hime gal but also does agejo. Her wigs are always so pretty!
An American Gaijin Gal who does tsuyome, agejo, himekaji and oraora.
Another gyaru crafting blog!!! Finally!!! I only discovered them while compiling this list, but it is run by two twins, Amy and Claire, and they have so much good stuff on there! They have rokku & hime gyaru as well as a little bit of lolita. Additionally, they also do a lot of knitting! Which has inspired me now to do more gyaru crochet.
A Peruvian Gaijin gal who mostly does himekaji and Roma. She also has lot's of resources for gyaru and some essay style pages, she also does parapara!
Super cute Agejo Gaijin gal!! She's so prettyyyyy and I love that she does some true Agejo style, not just pink & black mars sets. (they're cute but I like variety pls!)
Possibly one of the cutest blogs ever...so nostalgic you just have to see it for yourself!
A super duper sweet Hime gal with an entire blog dedicated to DIY! She has lots of ideas for making your life a little more gal!
Not strictly gyaru, but a fair amount of articles on agejo, hime & himekaji, as well as some links to tutorials. She has a few "how to order from Japan" type articles but since they are all from 2016 or earlier I'm not sure if they'd work or are even needed
