A week of tutoring outfits

A Week Of Outfits - Holiday Tutoring Edition!

Hi cutie gals! Another post! Third one this week! And one will be coming on Sunday too!

I'm feeding you well now because...school begins on Tuesday...so you might have to fast, or at least go on a water diet.

Anyways, as I do each holidays, I have been attending english tutoring at matrix 🥲 it's Monday - Thursday for two hours in the morning. It's really handy though, so I don't mind.

It's also a way for me to get out of the house and get dressed up, which I haven't really done much up until this holidays. Normally, my holidays are pretty isolated buuu~

I also wanted to try the outfit check format that was pretty standard for gyaru blogs where they'd say where each thing was from, except mine is all just Australian stores 🙄

Liz Lisa Style Dress Sewing Tutorial

Liz Lisa Style Dress Sewing Tutorial

Happy easter cutie gals!
Finally exams are over and the term has come to a close, and I've been able to spend lot's of time sewing. Because I will have so much time over the holidays, I'm going to try pre-prepare tutorials then, so I can post consistently for you all during term!

Anyways, today I'll be teaching you how to make this beautiful dress, which is a pretty similar copy to this dress from a Liz Lisa 2009 release. This dress was so cute, I chose to wear it as my Easter Sunday dress, paired with a super cute bow.

I've seen many different versions of it, but sometimes its hard to tell which are replicas and which are just using the same fabric but in a different cut.

This dress is absolutely delectable, as i've made it with a very handy elasticated/faux smocked back, a gathered skirt and lace fagoting on the sleeves and close to the skirt hem.

Overall, the construction of this dress is quite straightforward, as we are not adding a zipper in or doing anything fancy with the sleeves (though you can if you'd like!), but it is the pattern drafting which is a bit tricky.

If you've never ever drafted a pattern yourself before and aren't familiar with the general idea of how different pieces would be shaped, I honestly wouldn't recommend doing this, but if you've used a commercial pattern or made your own bodice block before, I reckon you'll get the hang of this easy.

Easter show blog

Easter show visit 2026 - blog

Happy belated easter cutie gals! Yesterday, I went with 🍎 to the Sydney Royal Easter Show! She only moved to Australia last year, so it was her first time at the show. I haven't posted for almost a month now, I'm really sorry! I'll be posting a tutorial by Sunday, I promise! I've been really busy with school, and then was really burnt out, so it's been tough for this little gal!

Ruffled Sukapan Sewing Tutorial

 Ruffled Sukapan Sewing Tutorial

Be there, or be square, cutie gals! I promised I would upload a new tutorial this week, and I did!
Today I'll teach you how to make this super cute ruffle skirt, which even has built-in shorts!
It's super simple to make, and it only took me about half a day. However, I did use a rolled hem foot, which definitely saved me an hour haha~

If you've sewn once or twice before, I think this is a perfect project for you. If you know how to use a machine but haven't sewn in a long time, I think it is also doable; there can just be a lot of fabric at times, and the amount of rolled hems can be frustrating.

In this tutorial, I'll teach you how to create ruffled layers, add an elastic waistband, draft a pair of safety shorts, and put it all together!

~Mate Gal - Weekend day out~

 ~Mate Gal - Weekend day out~

Hey cutie gals!

It's been so long...

I'm sorry! I've simply been so busy with school that I haven't managed my time well enough to make any posts. I'm making a tutorial this weekend, though (once I finish my homework that I'm meant to be doing right now) so you'll have something new by Thursday!

Anyways, today my family and I all went out for my grandmother's birthday to lovely Uruguayan cafes!
Part of my heritage is Uruguayan, so I always like to take part in culture as well as I can. However, this is pretty hard LOL since there are very few Latinos in Sydney, let alone Uruguayans.

So today, we went on a pilgrimage to Smithfield, where there is not one, but two Uruguayan places!

Kawaii Underbust Skirt - Sewing Tutorial

Kawaii Underbust Skirt - Sewing Tutorial

➽──────❥ ❀⊱༺♡༻⊰❀ ➽──────❥
Hi everyone! This is my first tutorial, and today I'll be recreating/revamping the first garment I ever sewed by myself and giving you a tutorial on how I made it.
This skirt is soooo cute and flattering, and would be very suitable for an inverted triangle or hourglass body shape. I think it could be incorporated nicely into a himekaji co ord, and I'm planning to make a puffy, off-shoulder top in white to match, which I'll give a tutorial to draft the pattern for and the instructions to assemble.
However, I have a longggggg list of things I want to make, and I don't have any more space to store fabric, so it could be a while. Don't worry though! I have lots of other cute tutorials planned too 😝
