Tsuyome Gyaru Day Out - With My Gal Bestie Rihanna!
Hey cutie gals! It's the last day of the holidays as I am writing, but on Saturday I went on a fantastic outing to the city with the fabulous, glamourous, ravishing Rihanna!
While we both looked FANTASTIC, I was not able to learn the whole of cyber dance and my feet had gone back into the grave, so I went and sat around while Rihanna filmed her own super cute parapara, to watch it, you can head to her tiktok @r1xxsu !I took a few pictures while I was waiting for her, so here's a better peep of my hair. You may notice that for most of this blog I've been wearing this black bow that you first saw on Rihanna!
The train ride was a good recharge, since I had to walk up two flights of stairs and then down two flights of stairs to get out of the station alone, then downhill a hill steep enough to tip me over wearing flats.
Rihanna (@r1xxsu on TT and @rix.xss on IG) is one of the many gyarus I met at the First Sydney Gal Meet in January, and we've been chatting ever since! She does lots of Hime & some Tsuyome gal too, and I just want to steal her whole entire wardrobe! For more than a month now, we've been trying to meet up, but it all finally came to fruition on Saturday!
Here's my outfit that I wore, it was my first time dipping my toe into tsuyome style, but I think I did quite nice!
Top: Homemade! ~ tutorial coming soon
Skirt: Homemade! ~ tutorial here
Shoes: Bought from Vinnies but Mimco brand
Bracelets & bangles: Vinnies
Heart chain belt: Aliexpress
Handbag: Juicy Couture
Originally, I planned on wearing a blonde wig I styled in a more sujimori fashion, but I was unable to last minute, so I just had to wear my natural hair on wash day 😭 it all worked out though, and I think I looked pretty good~
Going from my area to Town Hall, where we were meeting, isn't actually very long, but I was so excited to see Rihanna again I was buzzing about in my seat!
Even worse, there was a group of gym bros just standing in the middle of the walkway in the train yapping so loud! No one cares! 😂
Anyways, we met at the Kinokuniya in Town Hall then headed to Photo Signature in Haymarket! Originally, we thought we'd try get the light rail there just so we wouldn't have to walk as far, but after waiting with many other people on the platform, we realised that there were no light rail streetcars running, so on we went walking...
It didn't take too long though, and eventually we arrived and began fixing ourselves up, and I was getting all the tips from Rihanna. We had a massive cunty photoshoot together while waiting for an actual photobooth to open. I'll just put the best pics here, since I already posted most of them on a recent instagram post.
There are a fair few photobooths in and around town hall & haymarket, but Rihanna suggested we go to photo signature in particular so we could use their gyaru frame, but when we finally got into the booth, it turned out they didn't have it any longer! It was such a bummer, so we walked back up to the og, Hama Film!
Again, we had to line up, but we got into chatting and time passed so quick, we took suchhhhh cute pictures, even though I literally had no idea how to pose...
I am SO happy with how good the pictures turned out, I don't know where I am going to put it up in my room though!
After taking our pictures, we went into the karaoke rooms and sang a few songs! Rihanna sang her own rendition of "Only Girl (in the world)" by a different Rihanna! Then, I sang Mr Mr by Girls Generation, same as last time I went to Karaoke lawl.
We paid for three songs, so we sang Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan together, which was so beautiful 😻
We then walked along George St up to Regents Place looking for something to eat. As we walked around, we passed this super cute toy store that looked straight out of a storybook, which had some really big Sylvanian families dolls!
Regents place is a really hard building to navigate - or at least to me - so we ended up going in and out a couple of times until we found a cute dessert place, Fujimi Bakehouse! Unfortunately, there was no seating there and my feet were beginning to die at this point, so we then moved up to Gong Cha, finally getting a seat!!! At last!!!
Rihanna got a strawberry egg tart, she'd never had one before which was so surprising to me, but she did like it!
I got a chocolate & peanut butter pancake thingy, it was superrrr delicious, but I did squish it a little too hard, and the filling spilt into the paper pouch!
Once we had sat and ate for a while, and my feet were more or less recovered, we moved on to Koko Amusement, a big arcade in town hall. We didn't go there for the games though, we're young ho's and just went there to take pictures and film some parapara!
The proper dance is on my tiktok (@minanyanya), this one is of course the famous cyber dance parapara!
And this one is my absolute FAVOURITE parapara "It might be there" by Mayumi Ozaki

Well,
when we got to photo signature, she was soooo kind, and gave me the bow!!! And I absolutely adore it! I can't wait to wear it more, since all of my bows are light colours. The arcade lights were so good, and I loved sitting in front of this tacky gold game, but I was getting highkey overstimulated since it was so loud from about a bajillion games playing all flashing different lights.
Once Rihanna got back, we decided to do another photoshoot with all the bright lights, and it all turned out so good!I've finally learnt how to fix lighting in photos after taking them too, which definitely improved my game in the past week~
Walking back to town hall station was a CHORE though, and I was stumbling about the whole way there. It was funny though, Rihanna did note I still walked fast 😭
It's always so hard to say goodbye to a friend when you don't see them often, and if I wasn't so exhausted, I think my eyes definitely would've started watering. I love all my gyaru gal besties so much, and are all so, so special 💖
By the time I had stumbled down the stairs, and walked to the complete other end of the platform (even though it was the WRONG side), I had to just sit on the dirty tiles until the train came, but at least I looked cvnt
End of the day, my fringe has changed species as it does. If anyone has tips for keeping your fringe in place pls put it in the comments!
It was surprisingly cold at this point, only 15ºc, but at least the sunset was prettyyyy. I wish I got a better pick of how LAVENDER it was, but I literally only have these two...
I went straight to the floor as soon as I got home, but it was a beautiful way to end my holidays 💜
I'll be returning back to school tomorrow, I am sooooo jealous of all the students who get to go back on Wednesday, but at least I have a short day.
I do have a couple tutorials prepared, so hopefully I'll be able to post consistently this term, so let's all work hard on our academics, relationships & of course gal style!!
See you next week, cutie gals~ and don't forget to follow the blog so you get updates on it!
