Day out diaries #1: noraebang with my besties!!

Wow, my summer has started fantastic! Today, I went to karaoke with N and Apple for the first time - it was so fun! I spent the morning tidying up my room though, normally I am pretty clean, but after the exam block burnout was BAD, and my room just had lots of workbooks and yarn everywhere haha… It’s still not clean…but I did make a start!

Anyways, I left home at midday, and just as I got on the train it was POURING DOWN!! I was so lucky to miss it…

It took me about an hour to get to Gadigal station, but once I got there, N, Apple and me were all on our way!

The Town Hall building is so beautiful, I wish we had more like it in Sydney

We went to Kono Karaoke in town hall and it was sooooooo busy😳…

Once we were inside, N and Apple started singing “Into the new world” by Girls Generation, and they showed me how to use the system (I still don’t quite get it)

Then it was my turn and I absolutely SMASHED Mr.Mr. 😄- I am sooooooo sad that I didn’t take a video though because it was my best performance of the day.

I sang a lot of second gen songs with N, we lived out our girl group dreams together~

N and Apple are both super good singers, but when me and N tried singing “Heart Attack” by Ace of Angels, it was wayyyy too high!! I don’t know how ChoA does it 😅

I sang “WiggleWiggle” by Hellovenus, and I had a great time, but I think N and Apple were a bit traumatised by my twerking 😭😭I shimmied a little too hard at one point and nearly fell out the door of the room!

I really wanted to sing “Singing in the rain” by Jinsoul and “Love cherry motion” - but they didn’t have it in the system!! I don’t think. But I only got N to search girl of the month, so maybe I would’ve had more luck searching Jinsoul and Choerry.

Instead, I sang “Heart Attack” but by Chuu this time, and “Love4eva”. However, I need to work on actually singing into the microphone, not just holding it next to my face😓…

We spent almost TWO WHOLE HOURS at the karaoke, and me and N were exhausted on the metro home.

We had a good time~

I just missed my train after getting off the metro, so I treated myself to yo-chi~🍧

As soon as I got home, I took a longggggg nap (5:23-6:57 according to my watch). Even though I am tired, I don’t know how easy I’ll fall asleep tonight eek 😧. 

Tomorrow I’m planning to finish cleaning up, and hopefully get into some crafting. I’ll either be finishing some custom high heels and finishing that tutorial or trying to recreate the first garment I sewed a little over a year ago, so I’ll post up the tutorial on here and on TikTok and Instagram, hopefully a bit later though since there’s a little more editing involved in that.
