 Sewing Project Basics

Here are the standard items you'll use in nearly every sewing project on my blog:

For Sewing

• A sewing machine, or just your hand and a needle if you're real talented
• Thread either in white, cream, black or matching the project, it will depend on your use case
• Fabric scissors or a rotary cutter if you're fancy~
• Tailors chalk/fabric pencil removable with heat or water
• Measuring tape
• Iron & ironing board

For Pattern Making 

• Scrap paper - as I always say, last year's science notes always work well for me!
• A pen, pencil, marker - something to write with, anything!
• A water soluble glue stick, so you don't have to spend ages separating tape from paper when it comes to recycling your failed patterns. Once you get a pattern perfect, you can reinforce it with tape though.
